Traditional Goldsmiths to offer home consultation service as part of bespoke jewellery process

Specialists in handcrafted jewellery, The Goldsmithy Ltd, will be bringing the journey of bespoke jewellery into client’s homes with a home consultation service to bring beautiful commissions to life.

Owner Glenn Chapman feels it is important to adapt to the changing times, offering customers the flexibility of home visits, while keeping the traditional methods and values of jewellery making alive. Home visits will be available from the beginning of July and he will also offer the option to meet in a consultation space in Wolverton for those who would prefer to meet in a central space.

Having been in the jewellery trade since 1972, Glenn learnt the traditional methods of goldsmithing at Cartier and was the last trained small worker apprentice at Wright & Davis Ltd (Cartier London) creating luxury goods. Glenn turned his passion into his business, opening The Goldsmithy in 2008 and has since made over 600 custom jewellery commissions keeping the traditional trade alive.

From his workshop, Glenn will continue to bring your ideas to life crafting one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery including pendants, earrings, rings, pens, custom watch cases and everything in between.

The Goldsmithy offer the unique opportunity to recycle sentimental jewellery that contains fond memories and milestones into something new. Whether it’s using the gold from a loved one’s piece to reinvent into your wedding band, or transforming an outdated heirloom – with your ideas and The Goldsmithy’s experience they can create something truly unique for you without losing any sentimental value.
