There’s no better day to spoil your mum than on Mother’s Day, which is fast approaching falling on Sunday 11th March. But are you guilty of buying your mum the same old flowers, bath sets and chocolates each year? While these are all lovely gifts why not get her something extra special this year, like designing a bespoke piece of jewellery together and having it hand crafted by us at The Goldsmithy!
Together you can come into the workshop for a free consultation and a cuppa where we’ll talk through all your ideas and budget to form a design you love. If you’ve got siblings why not get them involved too and create a set of family rings or other jewellery to all have. Or have you got a family heirloom like grandmother’s ring sitting in the back of the draw at home? We can handcraft this into something new or use the stones that’ll mean much more to you both than a shop bought piece.
Even better we’ll invite you to the shop to have a go at working on your piece, literally making your mark on it! In our warm welcoming workshop, you’ll get to have a go at different stages of the jewellery making process including pressing, filing and sanding metal, which eventually turns into a beautiful piece of jewellery. You’ll walk away with an insight into how hand-made jewellery is crafted and knowing you have helped it through its journey from a piece of rough metal, makes this much more than a piece of jewellery.
Come create, celebrate, and remember those special moments with The Goldsmithy this Mother’s Day! Get in touch if we can help or pop in and visit us for a chat.
