Whilst diamonds are still popular and used regularly, recent research carried out showed that out of 5,000 people surveyed – between the ages of 23 and 38 – 58% have opted to use independent designers and bespoke one of a kind piece for their engagement ring. 32% chose to use their birthstone, whilst 25% opted for the birthstone of a beloved family member.
Over the last year Emeralds, Rubies, Pink Sapphires, Peridot’s, Morganite’s and Aquamarine’s have all been popular amongst those getting engaged.
